Klipee: Share Clipboard (“Klipee”) lets you sync clipboard content (text and images) across your devices using a session slug. This policy describes what data we handle and how.
Session clipboard data: When you save clipboard content to the cloud, it is stored on our servers (or in your Google Drive if you use that option). That content is associated with a session identifier (slug) that you choose or that is generated. We do not require an account; the session slug is the only link to your data.
Encryption at rest (session mode): Session data on our servers (not Google Drive) is stored encrypted at rest using AES-256-CBC with a unique initialization vector per write. This protects data on disk; it is not end-to-end encryption—the service decrypts data to serve your session when you use the correct slug. Google Drive storage uses Google’s systems separately.
Session slug: Your current session slug may be stored in your browser’s local storage so the app can restore it. This stays on your device.
We do not collect your name, email, or other personal identifiers. We do not use analytics or tracking on the app. We do not sell or share your clipboard data with third parties.
If you sign in with Google and use the Google Drive option, your saved items are stored in a folder in your own Google Drive. That data is subject to Google’s privacy policy. We only request the scope needed to read and write that app-created folder and file.
Our hosting provider may log requests (e.g. IP address, URL, timestamp) for operational and security purposes. We do not use these logs to track you across sessions.
You can stop using the app at any time. To remove data stored on our servers, delete the session (e.g. use “Clean all” and stop using that slug) or rely on any automatic cleanup of old sessions if the host has enabled it. For data in Google Drive, delete the folder or file from your Drive.
